FuboTV Surges 7% as Market Finally Values Combined Live TV Bundle
FuboTV shares surged midday on Wednesday, rising 7% to $11.27, despite no earnings release or corporate announcement from the company.
The move is significant because it shows that investors are finally giving credit to the combined live TV bundle owned by FuboTV and Disney's Hulu + Live TV.
The bundle has over $6 billion in pro forma annual revenue and 5.75 million North American subscribers, but FuboTV stock had been trading far below its year-start price due to a heavily discounted name.
FuboTV now owns Hulu + Live TV, Fubo, and Molotov, making it the second-largest virtual multichannel video programming distributor in the US and sixth largest pay-TV company.
