Fuchs Lubricants' Ecocool Global 1000 Earns Boeing BAC 5008 Approval
Fuchs Lubricants has announced that its Ecocool Global 1000 metalworking fluid has earned Boeing BAC 5008 approval for demanding machining operations. This approval adds to a growing list of aerospace recognitions for Ecocool Global 1000, which includes Airbus approval in the latest version of AIPS 00-00-010 and Rolls-Royce CSS 129131 Category 2.
Ecocool Global 1000 was engineered specifically for high-performance operations involving titanium, nickel-based alloys, aluminum, and super alloys. It delivers exceptional lubricity additives, optimal cooling, excellent wetting and cleanliness properties, low foam, and excellent biological control to provide long fluid life in challenging machining environments.
The fluid's EH&S profile is unmatched due to Fuchs' patented technology, which includes the absence of boron, sulfur, chlorine, secondary amines, monoethanolamine (MEA), triethanolamine (TEA), and registered biocides. Ecocool Global 1000 has also been certified as non-irritating by a panel of clinical pathologists to increase operator acceptability and improve the work environment.
