Gables Capital Management Invests $5.59 Million in Home Depot

Gables Capital Management Inc., an investment firm, has invested $5.59 million in Home Depot (NYSE:HD) by purchasing 15,839 shares during the second quarter, according to a recent Form 13F filing with the SEC.

This represents approximately 2% of Gables' holdings and makes HD its 11th largest position.

The news comes as other institutional investors have also made significant changes to their positions in Home Depot. For example, BlackRock Inc. acquired a new position valued at $28.77 billion during the second quarter, while Norges Bank bought a new position worth $4.85 billion in the fourth quarter.

Home Depot's recent earnings report showed a 5.7% year-over-year increase in revenue to $47.86 billion, exceeding expectations and driving up the stock price.
