Gas Prices Soar as Trump Touts War Costs
Rising gas prices have become a major concern for voters across the country, particularly among working-class families. The national average price of gasoline has reached $4.48 per gallon, with many areas experiencing even higher costs. President Donald Trump's assertion that higher gas prices are a 'small price to pay' for the war with Iran has been met with widespread criticism and frustration.
Quinten Martinez, an Amazon delivery driver from Texas, expressed his concerns about the impact of high gas prices on everyday life. 'Is it going to be groceries this week?' he asked. 'Is it gonna be getting gas in our tank to go to work?'
A recent Fox News poll found that 61% of voters consider gas prices a major problem for their household, with 63% believing the Trump administration has made the economy worse.
