Gas Turbine Orders Soar to Record High in Q2
Global gas turbine orders have reached an all-time high in the April-to-June quarter. According to JPMorgan Chase & Co., a significant surge in power demand is driving this growth.
The analysts, including Phil Buller, reported that nearly 38 gigawatts of orders were placed during this period. This represents a 29% increase from the first quarter and a 71% rise compared to the same time last year.
Notably, the US remains the dominant market for gas turbine orders, accounting for almost half of all placements.
