Gearset Unveils AI Agent 'Cam' to Accelerate Salesforce Development

Gearset has launched Cam, an AI agent designed to help Salesforce teams accelerate development without sacrificing control. According to Gearset, Cam is the only AI agent that can be trusted to take tickets end-to-end, fully governed by security and delivery guardrails that DevOps demands.

During pilots with select customers, Cam helped deliver up to 44% of teams' pull requests within a week of onboarding. This indicates significant potential for increased output without causing blockages further down the release pipeline.

Cam works through tickets in the backlog, freeing up teams to focus on strategic projects. It interprets change requests, asks for clarification when needed, and plans and builds changes based on the context of the repository and specific org setup.

Every change Cam makes is governed by exactly the same testing, review, and software delivery controls as the rest of the team's work. This ensures that teams can confidently increase the amount of work they delegate to Cam without sacrificing control over quality and security.
