Salesforce Stock Surges on Strong AI-Driven Growth and Raised Guidance
Salesforce's stock price has been trending upward after the company reported double-digit revenue growth in its recent quarters and raised its full-year guidance for fiscal 2027. The company's strong performance is largely attributed to demand for AI products such as Agentforce and Data 360.
In its first quarter of fiscal 2027, Salesforce reported revenue of $11.13 billion, up about 13 percent year over year in nominal terms and 12 percent in constant currency. This revenue beat the company's own guidance range and showed continued momentum in core cloud applications and AI-related offerings.
The company's non-GAAP operating margin reached 34.8 percent, an increase of 250 basis points compared with the prior year period, while the GAAP operating margin stood at 21.1 percent, up 130 basis points year over year. This margin expansion is attributed to disciplined cost control and higher-scale AI and data services running on the Salesforce platform.
Salesforce has raised the midpoint of its fiscal 2027 revenue guidance to a range between $45.9 billion and $46.2 billion, indicating management's confidence in sustained demand for core and AI-enhanced cloud solutions.
