Google Photos is integrating Gemini AI tools to enhance photo management. Users can now manage, edit and organize their visual memories through multi-step prompts in Gemini Spark.

The integration allows users to search for photos based on subjects, locations, dates or events. It also helps identify and filter duplicate shots.

Gemini Spark can enhance image quality, apply quick fixes and create collages or stylized images. Edited images are saved as new copies in Google Photos, leaving the original photo untouched.

Users can also ask Gemini to create private or shared albums and add selected images to them. The integration connects Google Photos with other apps, allowing users to send links to shared albums in services like Gmail, Google Docs and Google Messages.
