Gemini App Update Simplifies Account Switcher Menu

Google is revamping its Gemini app on Android devices to make it more user-friendly and less cluttered. The update, set to arrive in version v17.58.13, will simplify the account switcher menu by moving most options into the settings menu.

The current account switcher menu is packed with 16 different options, but once the changes take effect, only six options will remain. These include a 'Switch Account' button and menus for managing your subscription, the Gem Manager, settings, feedback, and help.

Additionally, Google is introducing a new search feature that allows users to quickly switch between recent and relevant searches. The update also removes Gems, which are expected to be phased out in future updates.
