Users reported that they could no longer use voice commands with Gemini to control their smart home devices through Android Auto. The problem persisted despite some users claiming that a quiet update had resolved the issue.
A Google Community Specialist responded to the issue, asking for additional information and confirming that it was forwarded to the Android Auto team. However, a fix has not been officially confirmed by Google, leaving many users frustrated with the broken Gemini experience.
