Generac Lands $2.4B Deal with Amazon on Data Center Backup Power
Generac Holdings Inc. has made a significant move in the rapidly expanding data center infrastructure market by signing a long-term supply agreement with Amazon.
The deal, worth $2.4 billion in initial deliveries across 2027 and 2028, will see Generac provide backup power generators for Amazon's data centers.
This agreement adds considerable scale and visibility to Generac's data center business, which is emerging as a key growth engine for the company.
Generac has been focused on capacity expansion for large megawatt generators to support accelerating demand in the market. The company is ramping up production at its existing facilities and expanding its operations with new acquisitions, including the Belvidere packaging facility expected to go operational in Q1 2027.
