General Atlantic Revives IPO Plans with JPMorgan at the Helm
Investment firm General Atlantic has revived its initial public offering (IPO) plans after nearly three years of inactivity. According to a source, JPMorgan Chase will lead the listing effort, which could take place as soon as this year.
The New York-based company has also hired Morgan Stanley and Goldman Sachs for the IPO. General Atlantic confidentially filed for a listing in December 2023 but delayed it due to market volatility.
With the U.S. IPO market rebounding recently, strong investor sentiment is encouraging more companies across sectors to go public. General Atlantic manages about $130 billion in assets and has invested a total of $121 billion since its inception.
