Ghana and Boeing Agree on 18-Month Timeline for National Airline Revival
Boeing has given Ghana an 18-month timeline to revive its national airline under a new partnership, provided that the government completes the necessary institutional structures and implementation arrangements.
The projection was made during discussions between President John Dramani Mahama and Boeing executives in New York on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly.
The talks extended beyond aircraft acquisition to a broader strategic partnership aimed at strengthening Ghana's entire aviation ecosystem, including skilled jobs, technology transfer, and positioning Ghana as an aviation hub for West Africa.
