Global Firms Eye Pakistan's Energy Sector with Investment Interest
Prominent global companies have expressed interest in investing in Pakistan's energy sector.
The Minister for Petroleum, Ali Pervaiz Malik, met with representatives of Vitol Tank Terminal International (VTTI) and US-based Honeywell Universal Oil Products (UOP) to discuss potential investments.
VTTI is interested in developing energy storage, bonded warehousing, and LPG storage terminals in Pakistan. Meanwhile, Honeywell UOP wants to enhance its investment footprint and provide advanced technology for refinery upgrades in the country.
The Minister welcomed the expression of interest from these companies, stating that the government aims to provide clean and affordable energy to the people.
