GlobalFoundries Inc., a multinational semiconductor foundry, has secured a new $1.5 billion revolving credit facility with JPMorgan Chase as administrative agent. The agreement replaces an existing 2019 agreement and will be used to fund general corporate purposes.

The facility is available in both U.S. dollars and euros and matures in 2031, with options for two one-year extensions. It carries ratings-based interest margins tied to SOFR, EURIBOR or an alternate base rate.

GlobalFoundries has also terminated its prior $1.0 billion revolving and $20 million letter of credit facilities due in October 2026, which had no outstanding amounts. This move effectively extends liquidity duration and increases committed credit capacity for the company's long-term operational and investment needs.
