Gmail's New Share Button Brings Chat to iOS Users

The iOS version of the Gmail app has undergone a subtle yet significant change. A button allowing users to share sent and received emails directly with Google Chat has been rolled out in place of the emoji reaction button.

This new feature, which is confirmed to be available starting around version v6.0.260907 of the iOS Gmail app, transitions users to a share selection screen for Google Chat when tapped.

The rollout of this feature is currently exclusive to the iOS version of the Gmail app and has not yet been implemented in the Android version.
