Golden Cans Return to Coles for Another Year
Coca-Cola and Coles are reviving their Golden Can campaign for another year. This time around, shoppers will be able to find one of 300 specially marked cans hidden in 30-packs of Coca-Cola Classic, Coca-Cola Zero Sugar, and Diet Coke.
Each Golden Can is worth a significant reward - 200,000 Flybuys points, which can be redeemed via a QR code on the packaging. This translates to approximately $1,000 off a shop. The campaign will run from September 30, 2026, until January 31, 2027.
The Golden Can campaign is part of an omnichannel marketing strategy that incorporates in-store activation, digital media, social content, and retail point-of-sale materials. According to Tobias Hoogewerff, vice president - At Home, Coca-Cola Europacific Partners Australia, 'Creating meaningful value for consumers has never been more important'.
Luke Stockhill, Coles general manager Grocery, added that the company is 'delighted to bring the Golden Can back to Coles for another year. With 300 Golden Cans to be found and each one worth 200,000 Flybuys points, it's a fun way to give customers the chance to get even more value from their shop.'
