The acquisition was made through various instruments, including open right to recall and call options. The Goldman Sachs Group, Inc. now holds 9.02% of Gerresheimer AG's shares directly, while the remaining percentage comes from its indirect holdings through other subsidiaries.

The notification was made according to Article 40, Section 1 of the WpHG, which requires the disclosure of significant shareholdings in publicly traded companies.
