Goldman Sachs Buys 19.67% Stake in German Medical Equipment Maker Gerresheimer
The Goldman Sachs Group, Inc. has made a significant move in its investment portfolio by acquiring shares of Gerresheimer AG. According to the German Securities Trading Act (WpHG), the investment firm has reached a total holding of 19.67% in Gerresheimer AG's voting rights.
The acquisition was made through various instruments, including open right to recall and call options. The Goldman Sachs Group, Inc. now holds 9.02% of Gerresheimer AG's shares directly, while the remaining percentage comes from its indirect holdings through other subsidiaries.
The notification was made according to Article 40, Section 1 of the WpHG, which requires the disclosure of significant shareholdings in publicly traded companies.
