Goldman Sachs has opened its first dedicated engineering office in Bellevue, Washington, which will be home to over 125 employees focused on artificial intelligence (AI) and cloud transformation. The new facility gives Goldman a permanent presence in one of the world's leading technology hubs and serves as a strategic location to accelerate its firmwide AI and cloud transformation.

The Pacific Northwest is known for having many top engineering schools, and this location will provide Goldman with access to a deep pool of talent and a strong pipeline of graduates from leading universities. 'The Pacific North-west is home to many of the world's top engineering schools and a deep pool of talent,' said David Solomon, chairman and CEO of Goldman Sachs.

The office features an open floor plan designed to foster collaboration, productivity, and client service alongside wellness amenities. This investment builds on the firm's growth across the globe into locations including Dallas, Salt Lake City, and Warsaw.
