Goldman Sachs Identifies Seven Indian Companies as 'AI Enablers'
Goldman Sachs has identified seven Indian companies as 'AI enablers' that are poised to benefit from the growing demand for power, data centers, and semiconductor infrastructure needed to support the global AI build-out.
The Nifty has declined by 12% in 2026, but AI-linked companies have surged, according to Goldman Sachs. Among the seven Indian companies identified as 'AI enablers' are HFCL and Polycab India.
HFCL has a listed market capitalisation of over $4 billion and a 6-month average daily traded volume (ADVT) of $68 million, with earnings growth of 50% and capex intensity of 10%. Polycab India, on the other hand, has a listed market capitalisation of over $13 billion and 6-month ADVT of $39 million, with earnings growth of 18% and capex intensity of 4%.
The other five companies identified by Goldman Sachs as 'AI enablers' are KEI Industries, Sterlite Technologies, Blue Star, Craftsman Automation, and Syrma SGS Technology. These companies have varying levels of market capitalisation, earnings growth, and capex intensity, but all are expected to benefit from the growing demand for AI infrastructure.
