Goldman Sachs Introduces EURO STOXX 50 Auto-Callable Notes with 13.50% Call Premium
Goldman Sachs has launched EURO STOXX 50 Auto-Callable Notes maturing in 2029. The securities, issued by GS Finance Corp., are tied to the EURO STOXX 50 Index and offer investors an opportunity to participate in potential gains or losses of the index.
The notes have an automatic call feature that allows them to be called if the underlier closes at or above its initial level on October 5, 2027. In this scenario, investors will receive $1,000 plus a minimum call premium of 13.50% (at least $135 per security).
However, if the notes are not called and the ending level surpasses the starting level at maturity, investors will receive 150% of the positive return on the underlier per $1,000 face value.
The downside risk threshold is set at 75% of the starting level. If the ending level falls below this threshold, investors will face a 1-to-1 downside exposure, risking losses exceeding 25%, potentially up to the entire face amount.
