Goldman Sachs Lowers Disney Target Price to $140.00 Amid Mixed Earnings
Goldman Sachs has reduced its target price for Walt Disney stock from $144.00 to $140.00, while maintaining a Buy rating.
The decision was made on September 28, 2026, and reflected lower earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization (EBITDA) expectations.
Despite the reduced target, Walt Disney's stock price remains positive, with an average 12-month target of $126.61 from 29 analysts who have a Buy rating on the company.
The company's fiscal third quarter revenue grew by 6.80% year over year to $25.25 billion, while adjusted earnings per share reached $2.06, beating the consensus estimate of $1.86.
However, reported net income fell by 49.90% year over year to $2.64 billion, mainly due to a prior-year Hulu tax benefit and a current-quarter A+E impairment.
