Goldman Sachs Rating Downgraded to Hold by Wall Street Zen
Goldman Sachs Group Inc., (NYSE:GS) has seen its rating lowered to 'hold' from 'buy' by equities researchers at Wall Street Zen in a recent report. The downgrade was announced on Saturday.
This is not the first time Goldman Sachs has received a mixed review. Other analysts have also given conflicting opinions on the company's performance. Rothschild & Co Redburn increased its price target on shares of Goldman Sachs from $870 to $920 and gave the company a 'neutral' rating, while Jefferies Financial Group set a target price of $1,299 for the company.
Despite these differing views, Goldman Sachs has performed well this year. The company's stock opened at $1,038.81 on Friday and has a market capitalization of $302.47 billion. Its debt-to-equity ratio is 3.17, with a current ratio and quick ratio both coming in at 0.63.
Goldman Sachs' latest earnings report saw the company beat analyst expectations, reporting $20.98 EPS for the quarter compared to the estimated $14.47. Revenue came in at $20.34 billion, a 39.4% increase from the same period last year.
