Goldman Sachs Shares Poised to Soar on Anthropic IPO
Goldman Sachs' stock has increased by 26% from its 52-week closing low of $744 per share in October 2025, reaching a current price of $942. The dip was largely driven by macroeconomic pressures, including saber-rattling between the U.S. and China over trade and tariffs.
The company's earnings had been strong, fueled by investment banking, with revenue up 20% and earnings jumping 46% year-over-year in Q3 2025. The record second quarter saw Goldman Sachs post results that sent shares flying to a 52-week high of $1,152 per share.
The company benefited from the record pace of mergers and acquisitions deals, as well as the SpaceX IPO, for which it generated $100 million in fees. It is now one of the lead advisors on another pending blockbuster offering, Anthropic's IPO, projected to be even bigger than the SpaceX debut.
