Goldman Sachs Stake Sells Off as Investors Adjust Positions

SBI Securities Co. Ltd., a Japanese investment firm, has reduced its stake in The Goldman Sachs Group Inc. by 16% during the second quarter.

According to the company's latest Form 13F filing with the SEC, SBI Securities Co. Ltd. sold 1,099 shares of GS, bringing its total holdings down to 5,769 shares worth $5,835,000 as of June 30th.

This is not an isolated case; several other large investors have also adjusted their positions in The Goldman Sachs Group. For instance, Brighton Jones LLC increased its stake by 17% during the fourth quarter, while Revolve Wealth Partners LLC boosted its holdings by 7% during the same period.

The Goldman Sachs Group reported a quarterly earnings per share (EPS) of $20.98, exceeding analysts' estimates of $14.47 by $6.51. The company's revenue for the quarter came in at $20.34 billion, up 39.4% year-over-year.
