Goldman Sachs Sticks to 'Buy' on Five Below Despite Soaring Revenue
Goldman Sachs has reaffirmed its 'Buy' rating on Five Below's stock, setting a price target of $306.00. The firm credits the company's strategic operational changes over the past few years for this recommendation.
Five Below has been investing heavily in toys since the second half of 2024 to attract younger customers and capitalize on the category's long-term customer life cycle. The retailer has also reduced overlapping SKUs within certain product types, eliminating redundancy after determining it was over-assorted.
The company's India global sourcing office saw a significant increase from $30 million to $100 million in business following the implementation of tariffs in April 2025. This shift allows Five Below to develop products at roughly half the price of competitors, including crafting pens and pencils, through partnerships with suppliers and its merchandising team.
Five Below's strategic initiatives have contributed to impressive financial results, with revenue growth of 25.6% over the last twelve months. Analysts have revised their earnings upwards for the upcoming period, and the company continues to outperform with strong comparable sales growth.
