Goldman Sachs analyst James Schneider has reaffirmed their Hold rating on Western Digital (WDC), setting a price target of $615.00 for the stock. This decision was made despite a mixed bag of opinions from other analysts, with Barclays maintaining a Buy rating and Summit Insights Group's Kinngai Chan also issuing a Hold.

The latest earnings release for Western Digital showed a quarterly revenue of $3.34 billion and a net profit of $3.21 billion, up significantly from last year's figures of $2.29 billion in revenue and $524 million in net profit.

However, corporate insider activity paints a less optimistic picture, with 123 insiders selling their shares over the past quarter, indicating negative sentiment towards the stock.
