Goldman Sachs Unveils S&P 500-Linked Auto-Callable Notes with Up to 150% Returns
Goldman Sachs has launched S&P 500-linked auto-callable notes with a maturity date of October 18, 2029. The notes are issued by GS Finance Corp., guaranteed by The Goldman Sachs Group, Inc.
The securities are tied to the closing level of the S&P 500 Index and will be automatically called if the index closes at or above its initial level on the anticipated call date of October 20, 2027. In this case, investors will receive $1,000 plus a minimum call premium of 7.60% (at least $76.00 per note).
However, if the notes are not called and the final index level surpasses the starting level at maturity, investors will receive $1,000 plus 150% of the index return per $1,000 principal amount.
