Goldman Sachs Veteran Joins Polymarket to Tap Wall Street Liquidity

Polymarket has hired Lisa Mantil, a near three-decade Goldman Sachs veteran, to help lead its push to attract Wall Street liquidity.

Mantil will serve as Polymarket's head of institutional growth and brings with her experience as a Goldman partner and global head of the bank's ETF accelerator.

The opportunity to join Polymarket is 'a rare chance to help shape an exploding asset class at an inflection point in its development,' according to Mantil.

Prediction markets, which have seen volumes surge due to retail traders interested in sports-related offerings, are increasingly looking to attract institutional liquidity.
