Golf Tournament Slows Down in Blustery Conditions
The Amgen Irish Open at Trump International Golf Links, Doonbeg, got off to a slow start due to high winds that led to near six-hour rounds on day one.
Pádraig Harrington and Séamus Power were among those who struggled with the conditions, having disappointing finishes to their first round. Despite this, they remain in contention.
Harrington had been expected to do well at Doonbeg, but his score suffered due to slow play towards the end of his round. He remains optimistic about his chances, however.
