GOOGL Stock Surges as Alphabet Invests Heavily in AI Infrastructure
Alphabet Inc.'s GOOGL stock has been rising by 2.45% as its AI products gain momentum, boosting long-term growth expectations.
The strong AI product momentum is being driven by Google's Gemini 3.8 Live launch, which offers real-time, voice-centric AI across various platforms, including Windows desktop apps and enterprise integrations with companies like Salesforce and Lumeris.
Analysts such as Evercore ISI and Tigress Financial have raised their price targets for GOOGL, with Evercore bumping its target from $420 to $450 and Tigress setting a target of $485. Oppenheimer also projects that selling Google TPUs externally could add around $170B in incremental Google Cloud revenue through 2028.
Alphabet is investing heavily in AI infrastructure, planning at least €13B (approximately $15.1B) in Finland between 2027-2028, with a focus on data centers and clean energy to power Gemini, Search, Maps, and YouTube.
