GOOGL Stock Tumbles 11.2% in June Amid High Capital Expenditure Concerns
GOOGL stock has dropped by 11.2% so far in June, making it its worst monthly performance since February 2025.
This decline is a stark contrast to Alphabet's impressive run last year, where the company was the top-performing Mag7 stock due to its Gemini 3 AI model and other AI advances.
However, concerns over high capital expenditure by Alphabet and its Big Tech peers have persisted, with investors selling off these stocks in favor of semiconductors.
The tech-heavy Invesco QQQ Trust Series 1 (QQQ) has also declined by 4.2% this month, with Microsoft leading the pack with a 17% drop in the first half of the year.
