Google Analytics Adds App Conversions to Cross-Channel Reports
Google Analytics has expanded its cross-channel conversion reports to include app conversions. This update was announced on September 29th and allows users to see app conversions in the performance report, attribution analysis, and attribution models report.
The Conversion performance report now highlights which channels are driving app conversions, with a toggle between Analytics and Google Ads attribution settings. The attribution analysis report shows assisted conversions, breaking down touchpoints into early, mid, and late stages.
Google notes that this update is not available for every property yet but is actively working to bring it to more users. Additionally, cross-channel budgeting is still limited to web conversions only, with some reports relying on key events instead of conversions.
