Google Analytics Unveils Dashboards Feature with Limited Functionality

Google Analytics has introduced a new feature called Dashboards, which allows users to build a single page of charts by dragging metrics onto a grid. This feature was added on September 9, 2026, and is currently available in standard properties with a limit of 15 cards per dashboard. Premium properties can support up to 30 cards.

The Dashboards feature is designed to provide a consolidated view of cross-functional metrics, removing the need to navigate between multiple reports to assemble key business figures. The grid canvas allows users to create charts by dragging dimensions and metrics onto the canvas, rather than configuring a report definition first.

There are currently six supported visualizations in Dashboards: score cards, table charts, line charts, bar charts, donut charts, and funnel charts. However, there are some limitations to the feature, including a lack of support for segments, API integration, or card-level comparisons.
