Google Beam Expands Global Footprint, Partners for Extended Network
Google Beam is expanding its global footprint to six new countries, including the U.S., Canada, U.K., France, Germany, and Japan. This expansion includes a robust ecosystem of 18 channel partners who are equipped to deploy and support Beam. The technology is designed to bring people together for face-to-face connections, making everyday meetings more authentic.
Internal testing at Google has shown the impact of Beam in areas such as recruiting, talent development, and cross-functional collaboration. In an eight-week study, teams using Beam felt 50% more connected, found feedback easier to understand by 33%, and saw a 21% drop in follow-up meetings.
Beam is also partnering with Industrious to create the first-ever extended network, making it accessible to organizations of all sizes. Starting in October, customers can book HP Dimension with Google Beam directly at select Industrious locations across the U.S.
