Google Breaks Ground on 506-Acre Data Center Campus in Tulsa County
Google and Beale Infrastructure have announced that construction is underway on a 506-acre data center campus in unincorporated Tulsa County near Cherokee Industrial Park.
The project, called Project Clydesdale, will not only expand Google's Oklahoma infrastructure but also bring investments in the local power grid, water systems, workforce training, and community programs.
The campus will be powered by Public Service Company of Oklahoma, with Beale Infrastructure funding construction of a new on-site substation. This will strengthen energy reliability and grid stability across the region while providing additional capacity for the data center and other regional power needs.
Google has signed over 15 agreements since 2011 supporting the development of more than 2.5 gigawatts of new power generation and storage projects in Oklahoma.
