Google Brings AI Educator Series to Malaysia

Google recently launched its Google AI Educator Series (GES) in Malaysia. The series is a free, standards-aligned training program designed to equip educators with AI literacy skills. This move supports the country's vision for a future-ready educational system and aligns with its broader AI Nation 2030 vision.

The GES offers self-paced training tailored for K-12 educators and higher education faculty members. The program consists of bite-sized, 15- to 45-minute sessions that can be easily integrated into busy schedules. Educators can learn at their own pace and immediately apply new skills in the classroom, such as creating lesson plans and supporting materials.

In a small primary school in Negeri Sembilan, Cikgu Amirul Faisal bin Azman successfully transformed his school culture with practical AI training from GES. By focusing on classroom-ready applications rather than theoretical concepts, he gained confidence to rethink his daily teaching routines and reclaim hours from lesson planning.
