Google Brings Note-Taking to Messages with Keep Integration
Google has integrated its note-taking app Keep into Messages, allowing users to create and share notes directly within conversations.
The integration works by tapping the plus icon at the bottom left of a chat window and selecting Google Keep. Users can then choose an existing note or create a new one on the fly.
Shared notes appear in the conversation as any other message, but recipients must tap into them and send a request to collaborate before they can access the note.
The integration is useful for planning and collaboration, particularly in group chats. For example, users can share grocery lists or trip plans without having to leave the Messages app.
