Google Chrome Users Face Extremely High Risk from Multiple Vulnerabilities

A recent alert from the Hong Kong Computer Emergency Response Team Coordination Centre warns of multiple vulnerabilities in Google Chrome, posing an Extremely High Risk to users.

The team identified several issues that could allow a remote attacker to trigger denial of service conditions, elevate privileges, bypass security restrictions, disclose sensitive information, and execute arbitrary code on the targeted system.

Notably, one vulnerability, CVE-2026-85046, is being actively exploited in the wild. This allows an attacker to execute arbitrary code inside a sandbox via a crafted HTML page, further emphasizing the severity of the issue.
