Google Co-Creates Fashion Tools for New York Fashion Week
Ahead of New York Fashion Week, Google's Envisioning Studio collaborated with two fashion designers to create custom tools in Google Flow that streamlined their creative workflow process.
Jane Wade and Sergio Hudson worked alongside Google engineers to build specialized tools that addressed their specific challenges. Jane's tool, Styling Suite, allowed her to curate hair, makeup, accessories, shoes, and garments on digital models, then play with the styling virtually. This saved her time and resources by reducing in-person casting and fittings.
Sergio's main challenge was staging his show without breaking his budget. The co-developed Google Flow tool, Runway Visualization, simulated his runway, letting him adjust lighting, props, and model paths to harmonize the show and viewer experience within his budget.
