Google Co-Founders' Billionaire Tax Foes Clash Over Strategy

Eric Schmidt and Sergey Brin, two of Google's co-founders, are at odds over how to use their combined contributions in a California political fight against Proposition 40.

The billionaire-backed coalition has spent over $100 million trying to bring down the proposed wealth-tax measure, but despite their efforts, California Democrats have endorsed it and opposed other measures backed by Schmidt and Brin.

Schmidt, who contributed over $3 million to the opposition effort, is reportedly frustrated with the campaign's leadership and its failure to prevent the endorsement of Proposition 40.
