Google Ditches Fitbit Login Option for Google Health App

Google has removed the option to log in to Google Health using Fitbit account credentials in version 5.08 of the app.

This change comes after a nearly five-year warning period, starting from when Google acquired Fitbit in 2021.

The company had extended the deadline for users to migrate their data to Google accounts until May this year, but now all logging in must be done using a Google account.

Data that hasn't been migrated will be deleted as a result of this change.
