Google Doodle Celebrates Latin Pop Music During Hispanic Heritage Month
Google has released a new Doodle celebrating Latin pop music in honor of Hispanic Heritage Month. The interactive doodle features the search engine's name spelled out in flashing pink and purple letters, with each letter formed from beat sequencer pads.
The doodle replaces the 'o' in Google with bongo drums and fills in the 'l' with a trumpet, giving it a lively and festive touch. The image is meant to capture the energy of Latin pop music, which blends traditional styles like salsa, cumbia, and merengue with contemporary pop song structures.
Google released the doodle on September 23rd as part of Hispanic Heritage Month, an annual celebration that runs from September 15th to October 15th. To complement the doodle, Google has curated a 'Los Himnos' playlist featuring popular Latin artists such as Selena Quintanilla, Shakira, Karol G, and Grupo Frontera.
