Google Doubles Down on Brazil Cloud Infrastructure Expansion

Google plans to double its technical infrastructure in Brazil by 2030, expanding its cloud region in São Paulo state and investing aggressively in the country. The expansion will include large-scale data centers and technology resources, but the exact number and locations have not been disclosed.

According to Google Cloud CEO Thomas Kurian, Latin America is the company's second-fastest-growing region, with Brazil being its most important market. 'We are investing very aggressively in the country,' Kurian said.

The expansion will be a significant increase in computing capacity and will involve upgrading existing facilities, improving connectivity resources, and introducing faster chips, among other measures.
