Google Expands AI Agent CC to Household Management
Google is expanding its CC AI agent from a personal productivity tool to a shared assistant for families and households, allowing groups to coordinate schedules, tasks, and everyday logistics through one agent.
The updated CC can work with information shared by up to six household members, who decide what the agent can access, including emails, files, calendars, and messages.
CC then brings relevant information together into a shared system for the group. It has its own Google account, giving it a distinct identity and a defined permissions structure.
The family version of CC produces a shared morning briefing called 'Your Day Ahead', which brings together information about where household members need to be, outstanding tasks, and work the agent completed previously.
