Google Expands AI Agent CC to Households
Google's experimental AI agent CC has expanded to households, allowing up to six people in a household to share one agent. The agent sorts through shared material into a daily brief, calendar entries, and a task list, aiming to simplify household coordination.
The expansion builds upon the agent's previous functionality for individual users, which included features such as consolidating school notices, practice schedules, and reminders into a shared daily brief called 'Your Day Ahead.' The CC agent allows each family member to select what information the AI can access, providing a central place for shared information.
The household version of CC is available in the U.S. for individuals 18 and older with a personal Google account. Existing users will receive upgrade notifications, while new users are being placed on a waitlist.
