Google Expands AI Agent for Families with Shared Daily Briefs and Task Automation

Google has upgraded its CC artificial intelligence agent to support families and households. The upgraded CC allows up to six members to share information and coordinate tasks through a single Google account.

Each member controls what information to share with CC, including emails from schools or service providers, while keeping other data private. The agent delivers a shared daily brief called 'Your Day Ahead' each morning, automatically tracks important dates and tasks, and can complete logistical work such as filling out permission slips or planning weekly meals.

The upgraded CC pulls information from Gmail, Calendar, Tasks, and other Google services to maintain a centralized view of household activities. It can pre-fill PDF forms, check live drive times through the Google Maps API, and create shared documents in Google Docs and Sheets.
