Google Expands AI-Driven Information Monitoring Globally

Google has rolled out its AI Mode's information monitoring feature to all users globally, following its initial release for paid subscribers.

The feature allows users to tell AI Mode what they want to watch or keep track of, and Search will continuously monitor the web for updates on those topics.

This includes monitoring local events, new restaurants, price drops, and other topics that people frequently search for.

Robby Stein, VP of Product for Google Search, announced the rollout in a post on X, stating that users can simply 'tell AI Mode exactly what to look for' and Search will continuously check across changing information on the web.
