Google Expands Copyable Emojis to AI Overviews in Search Results
Google has expanded its feature of copyable emojis to include AI Overviews in search results. This update builds on last year's addition of copyable emojis directly from answer boxes.
Brodie Clark, a contributor to Search Engine Roundtable, first spotted the change and shared it with his audience. The new feature allows users to copy emojis from both the AI Overview section and the answer box in search results.
The example provided by Clark shows that while not all searches trigger the AI Overview version of the feature, it can be triggered in some instances. This raises questions about redundancy, as seen in the example where the same emoji appears twice.
