Google has expanded its Gemini Notebook feature to users with business and education accounts under the Google Workspace program.

The feature, called 'Notebooks in Gemini,' allows users to organize their notes and resources using interactive notebooks and create learning materials like reports and slide decks.

This expansion follows the feature's availability to regular Gmail users since April, when it was initially introduced.

For Google Workspace users, Notebooks in Gemini are enabled by default but can be controlled or restricted by admins at the organization level. Both Gemini and Gemini Notebook must be enabled for this feature to work.

However, regional restrictions on AI have resulted in the feature being unavailable to users in the European Economic Area (EEA).
